Ltd. had opted to settle the dispute under the Vivad Se Vishwas Scheme, 2020. They requested the withdrawal of the appeal and provided a certificate under Section 5(1) of The Direct Tax Vivad Se Vishwas Act, 2020.
The respondent, represented by Sh. R.K. Gupta, Senior Departmental Representative (DR), had no objection to the withdrawal request.
After considering the request and the certificate provided, the Tribunal accepted the appellant’s request for withdrawal of the appeal. The appeal was thus dismissed as withdrawn.
The final judgment was pronounced on April 15, 2021, by the bench of Shri G. S. Pannu, Vice President, and Shri Kul Bharat, Judicial Member.
