The Tribunal found that Form No. 5 had been issued to the respondent by the Department on October 29, 2021, under the Direct Tax Vivad Se Vishwas Act, 2020. Given this, the Tribunal allowed the appeal to be withdrawn.
The appeal filed by the ACIT(OSD) was dismissed as withdrawn, following the settlement under the Direct Tax Vivad Se Vishwas Scheme, 2020. The order was pronounced in the open court on June 21, 2022.
